About Me

My name is Hermon. I am a devoted practitioner of faith and an ardent student of transformation. Over the last 25 years I have formally and informally studied various medicinal technologies but am constitutionally a student of Spirit, the natural world, the people I work with, my own body, being, joy, pain, and living.

My Approach

Sacred Edge as a healing and creative practice is most deeply informed by the wisdom of indigenous medicinal traditions, Ayurveda, storywork, and the healing power of freedom praxis. I use terms like art therapy, somatics, allopathic medicine, plant spirit/elemental medicine, body work, meditation, doula, etc., to communicate accessibly some of the tools in my medicine bag but the truth is I have no actual words for the essence of the medicine I work with…other than sacred…I only know it is my responsibility to be in service of it. I do so with deep gratitude to Spirit, ancestors, teachers of the lineages I study, medicine beings and story keepers from around the world/throughout time, and fellow seekers who trust me with their stories.

The foundation of my work is deep listening…to Creation, Spirit, and You. I believe that each one of us has our own natural patterns that guide our processes…a unique blueprint that architects our relationship with the movement of change informing how we absorb, release, and transform energy. That is why acupuncture might be a highly effective tool for one individual and not for another. Why some swear by massage therapy while others cringe at the thought of it. There are stories buried beyond our conscious memories that tell the tale of how we are who we are reminding us that we are all apothecaries.

This is my starting point. Listening. Then…we walk the sacred edge. Together.
