Organizational Storywork
Much like people, institutions not only have stories but also play a massive role in shaping our individual and collective stories.
With this in mind, our offerings include:
Assistance in developing wholeistic institutional structures, cultures, and processes with the understanding that how we create determines what we create.
Facilitation of mission development, program planning, and conflict resolution with the goal of building in a way that challenges the all-too-common pitfalls of so many organizations that contradict their work in the way they do it.
Working with healthcare institutions (clinics, hospitals, insurance companies, advocacy organizations, etc.) to create patient centered and culturally competent organizational operating systems.
Providing trainings on race, gender, sexuality, immigration, and trauma competency.
For healthcare and non-healthcare organizations committed to cultivating balanced, generative, wellness centered, just, and equitable community/work culture.
How We Work
Initial Consult
The initial consultation is focused on conducting a detailed needs assessment. This is followed up with thorough information gathering through conversations, interviews with stakeholders, gathering of relevant documents, observation, etc.. The number of sessions for this chapter of our work together is determined by the articulated organizational needs, number of stakeholders that need to be interviewed, size of the organization, and volume of documents that need to be compiled. Next, I review everything and write out an assessment, findings, and a plan for moving forward. The document is then submitted for revisions. Once the revised plan is approved, we proceed with next steps as outlined.
Follow up
Follow up is determined by the needs assessment findings and subsequent action plan.
